About Mrs Bradshaw

Brief and recent history:

Over the summer holidays, I have enjoyed travelling around the South Island with my husband. We were very fortunate to escape the worst of the weather that plagued New Zealand after New Years Eve, especially as our only accommodation was a 2-man tent.  The highlight of the trip, apart from catching up with family, was 5 nights camping, swimming and reading books on the beach at Kaiteriteri Beach.

Before teaching at Ross Intermediate, I spent two years teaching in China, one in Beijing and another year in Shanghai.  During that time I made the most of our central global location and enjoyed one of my all time hobbies -travelling.  I enjoyed a back-packing trip around Vietnam, a resort stay in The Phillipines, a whirlwind bus tour of Europe, visited family and friends in Thailand, England and Scotland, weekend excursions to towns around Shanghai (HangZhou, SuZhou, and NanJing) cultural explorations of Beijing - armed with a map and a subway ticket plus a luxurious and relaxing Pacific Island holiday in Vanuatu.

One of the  many things I love about being a teacher, is the range of teaching opportunities all over the world, allowing teachers to explore new cultures, meet new people and develop their teaching knowledge.
